The following products were used to put this little shamrock card together. This card is a rather large card, completed it measures 5 1/2″ x 5 1/2″.
Card base Kiwi Slice (CS-0016) 11″ x 5 1/2″, fold in half
Shaker background “Through the Year Prints” (PP-0050) green stripe 4″x 4 3/8″
Shaker front panel Kiwi Slice (CS-0016) 4″x 4 3/8″
Clear view sheets (CS-0121) 3 7/8″ x 4 1/4″
Two Limeade Splash (CS-0020) strips 1/2″ x 5 1/2″
One strip of “Through the Year Prints” (PP-0050) 1/2″ x 4″, matte for this strip is Limeade Splash (CS-0020) 3/4″ x 4″, adhere together
For the shaker front, use the heart die from Snapshot Frames (DI-0045) and cut four hearts in a circle motion around the card front leaving approximately 1/4″ between each heart.
For the stem of the shamrock, I used a leaf from the set Embroidered Dear Rose (DI-0348). I did this very “carefully”! Please view the picture I’m providing below for instructions on how to make the sandwich and most importantly the placement of the die and acrylic plates. It is very important “DO NOT butt the ends of the plates together”, they must be staggered as shown or you will cut off of the end of your shaker front. When running it through the Amaze I stopped when I came to the end of the first plate. The stem will need to be trimmed up and snipped across the bottom to complete the cutout. I hope these instructions are not confusing and easy to follow.
Your next step is to adhere your Clear view sheet (CS-0121) to the back of your shaker front with the shamrock cut outs.
I’m sorry but this next step can be a little time consuming but you need to cut your Journey Foam Squares (AD-0085) into small strips and then line each shamrock/heart, plus stem with these strips as close as you can on the clear view sheet side.
It’s now time to load your confetti or whatever you want in the center of each heart and stem. I used only the green blooms out of the Journey Sequins Bloom Time (AC-0114) and a small amount of Journey Sparkle Cuts (AC-0151).
Leaving your shaker front face down (with confetti) on the counter add more Journey Foam Squares around the perimeter, adhere the green striped paper on top to close thus containing the confetti.
Adhere the shaker to the card front with adhesive.
Using the embossing folder, Corrugated Board (EF-0017), run the two 1/2″ strips of Limeade Splash through the Amaze machine.
Adhere evenly spaced on each side of the shaker card.
Stamp the remaining green stripe (that should already be attached to its Limeade Splash matte), with WISH. YOU LUCK from StoryBook Occasions (SS-0538) in Black Licorce ink (IP-0041).
Stamp the Leprechaun twice, once in Kiwi Slice (IP-0024), the second in Oatmeal Cookie (IP-0011) on Whip Cream c/s (CS-0040). Color the Leprechaun that was stamped with the Oatmeal Cookie with Color Burst Pencils (JM-0077).
Cut the hat from the Kiwi Slice stamped image and adhere to the colored Leprechaun. Put your finishing touch on the buckle by using FSJ Gel Pens (JD-0060) and coloring the ribbon (on the hat) with Color Burst Pencils.
Using Journey Foam Squares adhere the Leprechaun to the center of the shamrock and add the sentiment to the bottom of the card directly under the shaker.
